Job Summary

The EHS Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable Federal, State, and local regulations related to health, safety, and environmental matters. This includes coordinating and planning environmental and safety procedures and training for plant personnel, conducting inspections and audits, and preparing required reports.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and implement environmental and safety procedures and training programs for plant personnel
* Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies
* Prepare and submit required reports to regulatory agencies
* Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
* Provide guidance on proper handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous wastes
* Assist with emergency preparedness planning and process safety reviews

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. environmental science, safety engineering)
* 3+ years of experience in environmental and safety management
* Proficiency in computer spreadsheet analysis and word documentation
* Certification as CSP, CIH, or other environmental or safety professional is desirable
