POSITION SUMMARY :

Deliver exceptional and comprehensive care to Pediatric Pulmonary patients as an integral member of the Inpatient Pediatric Pulmonary team. Responsibilities include clinically evaluating and examining patients, reviewing electronic medical records, documenting notes, placing orders, coordinating discharges, and conducting rounds. This role primarily involves inpatient care with a monthly outpatient clinic session dedicated to follow-up for 2-4 post-hospital patients. The work schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts per week, Monday through Friday, exclusively during the day. There are no weekend or major holiday shifts required. The position includes on-call duties every other Thursday, and during weeks when an Advanced Practice Provider is unavailable, the remaining provider will work five 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, dayshift only.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduation from an AMA accredited Physician Assistant Program or a baccalaureate or higher degree program that meets the licensure requirements in Pennsylvania is required.
  • National Certification in Pennsylvania or another state with reciprocity and valid licensure to practice in Pennsylvania is mandatory.
  • Relevant experience is preferred.
