SSM Health is seeking a skilled RN Charge Nurse to lead our rehabilitation team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for coordinating unit staffing, implementing clinical objectives, and ensuring high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities- Assign, direct, educate, and monitor nursing and support staff during assigned shifts.
- Contribute to or perform performance evaluations of staff.
- Assess daily patient care needs and develop and distribute patient care assignments.
- Collaborate with advanced practice providers to ensure quality outcomes.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of patient care and identify any issues that affect desired patient outcomes.
- Respond to complaints about patient care and manage through established channels.
- May provide input for hiring, training, directing, developing, and evaluating staff.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing.
- One year of registered nurse experience.
