Job Summary

The HVAC Installation Project Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of assigned HVAC installation projects. This includes direct oversight of planning, coordinating, and directing activities of the installation department, maintaining a workforce consistent with business activity, and scheduling projects to ensure profitability, timely completion, and maximum customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct oversight of installation dispatching, ordering, warehousing, truck inventory and maintenance, and tool inventory and maintenance
  • Oversee the building and completion of installation job packets, ensuring complete and accurate forms in job folders
  • Accurate ordering of materials to complete each installation
  • Approve assignment of installation crews to each installation job
  • Oversee the coordination of materials procurement with approved vendors for maximum efficiency and cost
  • Oversee the tracking of all unused materials and returning or reusing on another job as applicable
  • Oversee the inventory of all truck and warehouse material and product stock
  • Maintain safety and quality as a top priority by scheduling and conducting monthly safety meetings
  • Conduct regular job site and truck inspections
  • Permit filing for installations requiring local permits to commence job
  • Maintain departmental budget expectations, including job costing analysis of completed jobs
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior, successful experience as an Installation Technician in the HVAC industry
  • NATE certification preferred
  • Strong communication skills and technical competence
  • Ability to pass a thorough background check and drug screen
  • Clean driving record
