About the Role:

RWE Clean Energy, LLC is seeking a skilled Wind Farm Technician II to join our team. As a key member of our operations and maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our wind farms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on wind turbines and associated equipment
  • Conduct safety inspections and identify potential hazards
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance technical skills

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in a related field preferred
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in operations and/or maintenance in power generation, transmission, and/or distribution
  • 2 years of experience in wind turbine maintenance
  • Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites
