Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Travel Nurse RN to provide exceptional care in a dynamic environment. This role is crucial for delivering high-quality nursing services to our patients.

Certification Requirements
  • Possession of an Active RN License (temporary licenses are not accepted).
Job Responsibilities
  • Charge Experience is mandatory for this position.
  • Maintain current certifications in BLS, NRP, and STABLE.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital or specialty setting.
  • Experience in caring for infants requiring CPAP or Ventilation.
  • Proficient in handling Central Lines.
  • Experience in stabilization and attending deliveries.
  • Knowledge of developmental care practices.
Work Schedule
  • Shift Pattern: Every other weekend.
  • Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week.
  • Shift Length: 3 shifts of 12 hours each.
Unit Information
  • Bed Capacity: 6 beds.
  • Patient Ratios: Estimated at 3:1.
  • Staffing: Minimum of 2 NICU RNs per shift.
  • Support: 24/7 in-house coverage by Neonatal Nurse Practitioners.
  • Additional Support: In-house OB hospitalist and anesthesiologist available around the clock.
  • Floating Policy: As needed to the nursery.
  • Attendance Policy: Adherence to company-wide attendance guidelines.
Additional Guidelines
  • No perfumes or lotions permitted.
  • Dress Code: Royal Blue Medical City Healthcare Scrubs (to be purchased from designated supplier).
  • Hair must be kept neat and clean; extreme styles or colors are not allowed.
