Job Summary:

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Farm/Livestock Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for assisting in the daily management of our crop and cattle production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain late model John Deere equipment used in planting, harvesting, and other crop-related activities.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Assist in the feeding and care of cattle in the feedlot during the winter months.
  • Participate in calving, feeding, doctoring, fencing, and overall upkeep of the operation.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve operational goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in row crop production working with larger equipment.
  • Plant through harvest experience preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to handle routine maintenance and general repairs.
  • Arc welding and fabrication skills a plus.
  • Must have a clean and good driving record.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and be trustworthy and responsible.
  • Good attitude, dependable, and hardworking.
  • Good experience around livestock production preferred.

  • Full pay health insurance after 6 months.
  • 3% company match IRA after 1 year.
  • Overtime after 90 hours every 2 weeks.
