POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a dedicated professional for the role of Evening Maintenance Specialist. This position involves a variety of responsibilities aimed at ensuring operational efficiency and equipment reliability.
We are currently looking for an Evening Maintenance Specialist who has:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a maintenance role within a manufacturing setting.
- Preferred experience in a glass or door manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in working with hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, conveyors, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct all tasks in a safe manner, adhering to company policies and safety standards.
- Execute scheduled preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities according to site specifications.
- Utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to document maintenance activities as required.
- Assist production operations by maintaining and repairing equipment to enhance uptime, yield, and throughput.
- Support the installation of new equipment by providing electrical, mechanical, and control assistance.
- Complete a pre-employment drug screening, physical ability assessment, and background check.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate degree in Electrical Controls, Industrial Automation, or a related field.
- Experience with Rockwell Logix maintenance.
- Ability to interpret motor control logic schematics and diagrams.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and repairing equipment controls on PLCs, SCADA, and PC systems.
- Proficient in reading electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics, along with troubleshooting and repairing components and systems.
- Experience with robotic controls and mechanical repairs is preferred.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Competence in using computers for tasks such as data entry into the CMMS.
SALARY RANGE: $27-$34/hr
