Structural Welder

We are currently looking for experienced Structural Welders / Fabricators for both 1st and 2nd shifts, specializing in plate and structural fabrication tasks.
- Proficient in fitting plate, structural materials, and piping by interpreting shop drawings, specifications, and travelers.
- Utilize cutting torches to shape beams, bevel plates, and heat-straighten components.
- Experienced in fitting and welding a variety of materials including carbon steel, stainless steel, inconel, and aluminum.
- Familiar with various welding techniques such as Flux-cored Arc Welding (FCAW), Metal-cored Arc Welding (MCAW), Gas Metal Arc Welding (MIG), Shielded Metal Arc Welding (Stick), Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (TIG), and Submerged Arc Welding (SAW).
- Capable of performing welding in flat, horizontal, and vertical positions.
- Ensure the production of consistent welds that meet shop drawings and customer specifications.
- Adhere to welding procedure specifications (WPS) for setting up welding machines and verifying weld sizes using company-issued gauges.
- Operate overhead cranes and forklifts as needed to transport materials within the workshop.

Requirements:
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings.
- Capability to pass various welding tests.
- Understanding of standard welding symbols.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- 1 - 3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or fabrication setting.
- Experience operating cranes and forklifts.
- Trade certification or equivalent experience is preferred.
Compensation: $19 - $23 per hour.
