Overview:


The Warehouse Repair Specialist is tasked with the essential maintenance and repair duties necessary for the smooth operation of the warehouse, as directed by the Operations Supervisor, Manager, or General Manager.


Responsibilities:
Assesses mechanical and electrical malfunctions in production machinery to identify suitable corrective measures.

Conducts preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on all production equipment as required.

Accountable for operating production machinery in alignment with established production needs while ensuring the quality of finished products.


Responsible for setting up, loading, initiating, adjusting process variables, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and properly shutting down equipment in accordance with production schedules and product specifications.

Communicates a list of necessary repairs to the Manager promptly.

Informs about items that cannot be repaired and requires the engagement of an external vendor in a timely manner.

Maintains tools as needed and ensures timely procurement of required tools.


Supports the facility's Safety Program and ensures that all maintenance-related areas of the warehouse comply with relevant federal and company regulations.

Provides recommendations to the Manager regarding items that require repair or upgrades.

Keeps an updated list of all contractors and vendors.

Responsible for notifying the shift supervisor of any significant deviations from standard operating conditions.

Assists packers and material handling personnel as needed.

Qualifications:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with 4-6 years of relevant experience.

Facilitates on-site training based on identified needs and recommendations.

Self-motivated with a proactive attitude

Excellent communication abilities

Must be adaptable to varying facility conditions.

Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field is essential.

Relies on experience and sound judgment to plan and achieve objectives.

Works under general supervision

A degree of creativity and independence is necessary
