KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Facilitates training and cultivates an environment where employees can reach their highest quality and productivity levels in their respective roles.
  • Strategically plans and allocates manpower, materials, products, and machinery to maximize efficiency while adhering to departmental policies and procedures to uphold safety, quality, and overall employee satisfaction.
  • Oversees employee performance, delivering constructive feedback and recognition as necessary.
  • Enhances department and company reputation through proactive communication and employee engagement.
  • Collaborates with other departments to identify opportunities for quality enhancement, cost savings, process improvement, yield management, and equipment upkeep, providing actionable recommendations.
  • Champions safety practices within the operational area.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience.
  • Experience in the poultry or food sector is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a team of 20 or more employees.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to make independent decisions.
  • Basic computer proficiency is required.
  • Skilled in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.
  • Willingness to work assigned hours, including occasional weekends, as necessary.
