Job Title: Shop Assembly Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Shop Assembly Specialist to join our team in Kenosha, Wisconsin. This is a contract-to-hire position with a duration of 18 weeks.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and disassemble centrifuges and other machinery components to ensure proper function.
  • Perform intricate assembly tasks, including installing and securing various components, such as pumps, motors, valves, piping, instrumentation, and electrical components.
  • Conduct thorough quality checks at each assembly stage to ensure products meet or exceed established quality standards.
  • Identify and resolve assembly issues, such as misalignments, fitment problems, and component defects.
  • Maintain detailed records of assembly activities, including parts used, assembly times, and any discrepancies encountered.
  • Collaborate effectively with other assembly technicians, engineers, and supervisors to meet production goals and address technical challenges.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Electrical and Mechanical Knowledge: The ideal candidate will have knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including blueprint reading and plumbing.
  • Problem-Solving and Attention to Detail: A high degree of problem-solving skills and attention to detail is required to ensure accurate assembly and installation of components.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Effective communication and teamwork skills are essential to collaborate with colleagues and supervisors.
