INTERNAL AUDIT MANAGER

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Oversee and execute internal audit projects in alignment with the Professional Standards for consulting as established by the AICPA and the overarching guidance of the IIA standards, along with CRI's quality control protocols.
  • Exhibit substantial expertise in conducting entity risk evaluations, compliance testing, and other internal processes, effectively communicating this knowledge both internally and externally.
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the regulatory landscape affecting our clients and convey this knowledge effectively within the firm.
  • Possess knowledge and experience in the construction sector, including payment applications and job cost reporting - advantageous.
  • Proactively engage with and manage client relationships at the executive management, audit committee, and board of directors levels.
  • Attract, mentor, and develop professionals to function efficiently within the internal audit and consulting team framework.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • CPA or CIA certification is mandatory
    • If possessing a CPA, candidates with CIA certification are preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years in public accounting with experience in managing and executing internal audits.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience in drafting internal audit reports.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to lead effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Candidates who hold or are pursuing CPA, CIA, CAMS, and/or CRCM certifications will be prioritized.
  • A minimum of 3 years in public accounting with government or industry-specific experience in an audit or regulatory compliance role.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication abilities.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
