PACU Nurse

In this challenging role as a PACU Nurse, you will provide exceptional care to patients on an on-call basis at Kaiser Permanente's Capitol Hill location in Seattle. As a per diem nurse, you will work varied shifts of 10 or 12 hours, ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care.
Responsibilities:- Utilize your nursing expertise to assess and prioritize patient care needs, developing individualized plans to meet their unique requirements. Ensure effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of aging populations by implementing tailored care strategies and engaging in ongoing education to enhance your skills.
- Cultivate strong relationships with patients and their loved ones, providing empathetic support and addressing their psychosocial, cultural, and emotional needs. Foster open dialogue and empower patients to take an active role in their care.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and participate in quality improvement initiatives, embracing opportunities for growth and self-improvement.
- Current RN licensure in Washington state
- Experience in perioperative settings, preferably in a similar environment
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a dynamic team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
We offer a competitive salary range of $95,000-$115,000 annually, commensurate with experience, as well as comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, retirement savings, and paid time off.
