Job Summary

Transforce is seeking a skilled Local CDL Driver with Hazmat Endorsement to join our team. As a Local CDL Driver, you will be responsible for safely delivering products to customers' places of business or job sites within a maximum radius of our home branch.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safety First: Prioritize safety above all else and comply with all DOT regulations while operating a commercial vehicle.
  • Loading and Unloading: Load, unload, and stage orders in a warehouse or job site environment.
  • Delivery and Customer Service: Deliver to customer sites and branch locations, unloading products as needed.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain delivery, truck, and driving records by obtaining signed delivery receipts, recording tracking information, and completing driver log and truck performance forms.
Requirements
  • Valid CDL License: Possess a valid CDL License with Hazmat Endorsement.
  • Safe Driving Record: Have a safe driving record with no hit & runs or DWI/DUI convictions within the last three years.
  • Commercial Driving Experience: Have prior commercial driving experience and knowledge of DOT & OSHA safety regulations.
  • HAZMAT Endorsement: Possess a HAZMAT Endorsement.
  • Basic Computer Knowledge: Have basic computer knowledge.
  • Forklift Experience: Have forklift experience.
  • Ability to Lift: Be able to lift 50 pounds on a repetitive basis.
  • Background Check: Pass a background check, pre-employment drug test, and DOT physical.
