Endoscopy Nurse

As a Registered Nurse in our Endoscopy department, you will provide exceptional patient care and ensure a safe and efficient experience for patients undergoing endoscopic procedures. Your expertise will be essential in assessing, planning, intervening, and evaluating patient care plans to ensure the highest quality outcomes.

• Oversee the physical, psychological, social, educational, and discharge needs of each patient, ensuring accurate and ongoing documentation.
• Analyze assessment data to identify specific patient needs and develop effective care plans.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe, timely, and high-quality patient care.
• Utilize your assessment skills to provide direct patient care and respond to patient needs in a timely and effective manner.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory agency mandates and maintain accurate documentation.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting a positive and empowering experience.
• Participate in cross-training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

• Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing.
• Minimum of 1 year of Med-Surg or Critical Care experience.
• Preferred: Endoscopy experience and Moderate Sedation Administration experience.
• Current RN licensure in the State of Indiana.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
