Product Engineer I

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Engineer to join our spatial analytics and data science team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and testing new capabilities, troubleshooting complex issues, and communicating best practices to our user community.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build software that is user-friendly, performant, and reliable.
- Design, maintain, and execute test cases for analysis tools, analyze test results, and report findings.
- Develop scripts to automate recurring tasks for internal use by the development team.
- Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product UX designs, and schedules.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues in existing and under-development functionality.
- Communicate best practices to the user community.
- 1+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience with scripting (Python and/or JavaScript preferred).
- Familiarity with spatial analysis capabilities across ArcGIS.
- Ability to manage priorities and tasks in a fast-paced, agile software development environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with a diverse team.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to define and complete robust testing workflows.
- Self-motivated, with an interest in continuous learning.
- Experience performing analysis in Map Viewer and running analysis services as REST functions.
- Understanding of basic web technologies such as HTTP/REST.
- Experience with software quality assurance testing.
- Project management knowledge or experience.
- Experience working in a Linux environment.
- Experience automating data management workflows.
