Houseperson Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Houseperson to join our Housekeeping Team at the iconic Beverly Hilton hotel.

About the Role:

As a Houseperson, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of designated areas of the hotel, including restrooms, public areas, offices, and banquet/meeting/conference rooms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain designated areas, including dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, shampooing carpets, washing windows, and cleaning/waxing floors.
  • Report maintenance deficiencies and items in need of repair.
  • Stock and maintain supply rooms, as needed.
  • Perform deep cleaning tasks and special projects, as needed.
  • Deliver guest requests and assist in cleaning guest rooms, as needed.

Requirements:

  • Availability to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Union Position: This position is part of the Local 11 Union, which requires complete open availability.
