Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Maintenance Specialist to join our team at the Chatfield Fire Department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities.

This role involves performing routine cleaning and maintenance tasks, including sweeping, mopping, buffing, stripping, and waxing floors, as well as cleaning rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and blinds. You will also be responsible for washing walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, doors, and sills, and replacing light bulbs. Additionally, you may be required to perform grounds-keeping duties, clear snow from entrances and walks, and spread sand and ice melting chemicals.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in building and cleaning maintenance desirable.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights.

As a Maintenance Specialist with the Chatfield Fire Department, you can expect a competitive salary range of $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
