Health Advocates Network is actively seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Critical Care Unit specializing in Long Term Care.
Shift:
12-hour Day Shifts
Compensation:
$68.14 per hour
Position Overview:
To qualify for the highest pay rate, candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility. This role requires ICU/CCU, Step Down, or Telemetry experience, with preference given to those with backgrounds in Emergency Room, Psychiatric, Medical-Surgical, or clinic settings.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of one year (12 months) of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- A valid and current RN license issued in the United States.
- A valid and current CPR certification.
- Experience in Emergency Room, Psychiatric, Medical-Surgical, or clinic environments.
- Proficiency in English is essential for effective communication with colleagues and patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments according to established nursing protocols.
- Conduct health assessments and respond to sick calls.
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients.
- Prepare equipment and assist physicians during patient examinations and treatments.
Monitor patient conditions, document significant changes, and communicate with supervisors or physicians regarding patient reactions to medications and treatments.
- Measure vital signs such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure to identify deviations from normal.
- May lead a team of nursing personnel providing care to multiple patients.
- Additional nursing duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
