We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Membership Representative at the YMCA of Virginia's Blue Ridge. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our members and guests, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience for all.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service to members and guests, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Process membership and program registrations, as well as handle monetary transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
- Assist in the implementation of member services, retention, and promotion initiatives, ensuring a high level of member satisfaction.
- Enforce YMCA policies and procedures, maintaining a safe and secure environment for all members and guests.
- Report any accidents, unsafe conditions, or problems to the appropriate staff, ensuring prompt attention and resolution.
- Working knowledge of Windows and MS Office operations, with the ability to type proficiently and work in front of a computer screen.
- Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a busy environment.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, conduct guest tours, and lift and move up to 50 lbs.
- Detail-oriented, with neat and legible handwriting, and the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
