Job Responsibilities

Experience Required: 0 to 6 months

Desired Experience:
Knowledge of Food Safety

Education Requirements:
No High School diploma necessary

Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Age Requirement:
Must be at least 16 years old

Key Responsibilities

Maintain a clean and safe work environment by ensuring the cleanliness of the department, including equipment, tables, utensils, and floors, while adhering to sanitation regulations.

Deliver exceptional customer service by warmly greeting customers and ensuring their orders are fulfilled to their satisfaction.
Possess adequate knowledge to address customer inquiries and provide recommendations that enhance their shopping experience.

Deliver products and services that align with the expectations of both internal and external customers, in accordance with the Company's Statement of Values.

Handle products and equipment safely, following established guidelines to ensure a secure shopping atmosphere.

Prepare and restock food displays in compliance with Company standards and procedures, while ensuring adherence to code dating protocols.

Demonstrate knowledge of product code dating.
Accurately document special orders for prepared food items to ensure customer satisfaction with the final product.
Assist in maintaining the efficiency of coolers and freezers by unloading deliveries.
Follow established procedures to help the store meet out-of-stock percentage goals.
Rotate and verify code dates on products to ensure customer safety.
Check deliveries by comparing invoices to received merchandise.
Assist in other areas as needed.
