Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavior Therapist to join our team. As a Behavior Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing behavioral consultation services to clients with developmental disabilities through the Indiana Medicaid Waiver Program in Lake County, Indiana.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide behavioral consultation services to clients with developmental disabilities in their homes, workplaces, or day programs, as well as in-office consultations.
  • Develop and implement Behavior Support Plans to help clients achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.
  • Consult with and train caregivers or staff on behavior support plans to ensure seamless implementation and support.
  • Collaborate with the team to provide comprehensive care and support to clients and their families.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or a related field.
  • 2 years of experience in Social Work (preferred).
  • Ability to work with special needs populations (children and adults).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
