At AMN Healthcare, we are seeking a skilled Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Nurse to join our team. As a PICU Nurse, you will provide high-quality care to critically ill infants, children, and teenagers in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care to critically ill pediatric patients, including administering medications, intravenous fluids, and artificial nutrition.
- Collaborate with families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to determine the best course of patient care and recovery.
- Work closely with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor patients' conditions and respond to changes in their status, making adjustments to care plans as needed.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest advancements in pediatric critical care.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) with a minimum of 2+ years of experience in pediatric critical care.
- Active RN license and current certifications in ACLS and PALS.
- Ability to work a minimum of 2 shifts per week, including weekends, with a flexible schedule.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
