About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated licensed mental health counselor to join our team at Shrub Oak International School. This is a full-time position requiring a strong background in therapy delivery and counseling, with a focus on supporting students with autism and other developmental disabilities.


Duties and Responsibilities
  • The successful candidate will work closely with education, clinical, and campus life teams to provide mental health services and support data-driven programming.
  • They will conduct comprehensive assessments, develop behavior plans, and engage families through family therapy and parent training.
  • Ongoing professional development and TCIS training are expected.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in mental health counseling or a related field, along with New York State LMHC licensure or eligibility.
  • 3+ years of experience in therapy delivery/counseling, preferably 5+ years.
  • Familiarity with autism-specific interventions and school settings is beneficial.
