We are seeking a committed Senior Adult Psychiatric Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team.
Job Summary and QualificationsOur Registered Nurses elevate the standard by delivering clinical expertise and the highest quality of care with compassion.
The Behavioral Health program focuses on individualized treatment for adolescents and adults facing emotional, behavioral, or mental health challenges.
As an RN in the acute inpatient unit, you will provide professional, skilled, age-appropriate psychiatric nursing care in collaboration with physicians, social workers, mental health counselors, and other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including readiness for participation from patients and families.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans to optimize outcomes and utilize available resources effectively.
- Deliver direct nursing care and supervise non-licensed nursing staff within the RN's scope of practice, adhering to established policies.
- Engage in treatment team meetings to assist in planning and adjusting goals, objectives, and interventions.- Administer medications safely, accurately, and promptly.
- Provide education and emotional support tailored to the patient's age, culture, condition, and circumstances, integrating patient and family teaching into all nursing practices.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current RN licensure in the state of practice required within 90 days of graduation or an active license.
- Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills are essential.
- BLS certification is required upon hire.
- Previous clinical experience is preferred, with a preference for at least one year of inpatient psychiatric experience.
- Basic computer skills are necessary.
