Advanced Practice Provider

Monument Health is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider to work at an established practice in Rapid City, SD. In this role, you'll take on a varied schedule that includes operating room, rounding, clinic, and call responsibilities. We are looking for someone motivated and driven, with outstanding patient care and communication skills. Join a growing team with two experienced cardiothoracic and vascular trained surgeons. Experience is preferred but training for new graduates will be considered.
Responsibilities
Under physician supervision, the Physician Assistant and/or Nurse Practitioner may assume primary responsibility in their respective specialty area according to federal, state, and local regulatory agencies. Responsible for management of selected at-risk or complex patients and aggregate patient populations in collaboration with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members. Must demonstrate the knowledge, critical thinking, and skills to plan, coordinate, and provide care on a continuing basis.
Requirements
Required:
Certifications - Certified Nurse Practitioner (CNP) - South Dakota Board of Nursing or Physician Assistant (PA) - South Dakota Board of Medical and Osteopathic Examiners
Preferred:
Experience - 1+ years of clinical experience; 1+ years of healthcare experience
