We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team at Lafayette Parish School System.

Job Summary:

The Electrician will be responsible for performing electrical work, including installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform electrical work in accordance with safety protocols and industry standards
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment
  • Ensure electrical systems are functioning properly and safely
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Apprenticeship or vocational training in electrical work preferred
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
