Job Summary

National University is seeking a highly qualified Part-time Faculty, Mathematics to join our team. As a Part-time Faculty, you will be responsible for teaching courses within a programmatic core discipline as assigned.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach mathematics courses to students, utilizing a variety of teaching methods to engage and support student learning.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans, assessments, and evaluations to measure student progress and understanding.
  • Provide high-quality feedback to students, utilizing a variety of methods to communicate with students, including email, phone calls, and in-person meetings.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress, grades, and attendance.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of curriculum and instructional materials.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Mathematics or a related field from a regionally accredited university.
  • Experience teaching mathematics courses at the high school or college level.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to student success.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and learning management systems.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with online course delivery and learning management systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines and priorities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, faculty, and staff.
