Newscast Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Newscast Director to join our team at Paramount. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for providing daily on-air production direction and physical execution of our programming.

• Provide daily on-air production direction and physical execution of programming as assigned.
• Collaborate with the station's editorial staff to prepare the broadcast through automation protocols and technical infrastructure.
• Assume the single-operator position in the control room and be responsible for the editorial and technical execution of the program.
• Supervise other crew positions, including ENG Receive and Studio Technician roles.

• Previous Sony ELC experience is required.
• Ability to run in automated and manual configuration.
• Excellent people and communication skills.
• Good conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.

• Knowledge of video and audio servers, Chyron graphics systems, audio consoles, and robotic cameras.
• Excellent computer skills and knowledge of iNews.
• Demonstrable experience as a newscast director.
