Building Maintenance Specialist

We offer a competitive salary of $49.51/hour for this full-time Overnight Building Engineer position. As a Union position, benefits will follow the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

The Journeyman Building Engineer supports designated leadership with daily operations of all building systems, including hard surface maintenance and repair, basic carpentry and metal work, operating, maintaining, and repairing all facility system equipment associated with HVAC operations and mechanical and electrical systems. The Building Engineer will also respond to customer requests, submit and close work orders as necessary, and perform other duties as assigned.

• Follows safe practices and complies with company and regulatory standards.
• Qualified to operate or assist in operating all heating and ventilating equipment, engines, turbines, motors, combustion engines, pumps, air compressors, ice and refrigerating machines, air conditioning units, fans, and siphons on the site assigned.
• Must be flexible and willing to complete all tasks as assigned.
• You will be responsible for working with both internal and external customers on technical issues, work scope recommendations, and failure investigations.

• 5+ years of engineering experience.
• Fire pump certification.
• EPA 608 Universal license.
• High Rise fire safety director.
• Engineering skill sets which can be applied to a range of systems, maintenance programs, and engines.
• Ability to analyze complex technical issues and detailed project management for regulatory compliance modifications.
• Excellent verbal and technical writing skills.
• Outstanding customer service skills.
• Must be able to pass background check/LiveScan.
• Must have valid driver's license/State issued ID.
• Must pass Tribal Gaming Authority Background Check.
