Director of Institutional Advancement

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Institutional Advancement to join our team at United Schools Network. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in guiding our philanthropic efforts and strategic planning. This is a full-time position, typically reporting Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m.

The RoleThe ideal candidate will have professional experience in an executive leadership position in a nonprofit setting, preferably in early childhood, K-12 education, or higher education. You will be responsible for establishing fundraising goals in partnership with the Chief Executive Officer based on the strategic plan, maintaining and growing a portfolio of major individual, corporate, and foundation donors, and regularly analyzing data to assess trends, report findings, and adjust strategy or activities.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive fundraising strategies to support the organization's growth and sustainability
- Cultivate and steward relationships with major donors, including individuals, corporations, and foundations
- Design and implement effective communication plans to engage stakeholders and supporters
- Demonstrated experience in nonprofit fundraising, preferably in a senior leadership role
- Proven track record of achieving fundraising goals and exceeding expectations
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Estimated salary: $140,000 - $170,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, and disability coverage options, paid time off, paid parental leave, observance of school holidays, Employees participate in the State Teachers Retirement System of Ohio (STRS) or the School Employees Retirement System of Ohio (SERS).
