About the Role

Sodexo Group is seeking an experienced Environmental Services Director to oversee housekeeping and linen distribution operations at a healthcare account. This position will report to the Client Executive and be responsible for managing a team of 4 managers and approximately 80 frontline staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive client and patient satisfaction scores by providing exceptional customer service and effective communication with hospital staff.
  • Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff by working closely with the Infectious Control department.
  • Partner with the Environment of Care Committee, Infection Prevention Director, and other key members of hospital leadership to achieve operational excellence.
  • Effectively manage the Unit Operating System and support a diverse and inclusive workforce.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of previous custodial or housekeeping director-level experience in a hospital environment.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to work independently to drive program compliance and reach project target dates of completion.
  • Experience analyzing data, presenting, and effectively communicating to all levels within the organization.
  • Proficiency with computers and other technology, as well as experience with vendor and contract management, union and contract negotiations, and strong financial acumen.
