Job Opportunity

Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Dietitian to join our team. As a Registered Dietitian, you will play a vital role in providing nutrition education and counseling to our patients, helping them achieve optimal health and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide nutrition counseling and education to patients, including individual and group sessions
  • Develop and implement nutrition education programs for patients and community members
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care for patients
  • Conduct nutrition assessments and develop personalized plans for patients
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest nutrition research and guidelines to provide evidence-based care
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nutrition or related field
  • Completed an accredited dietetic internship program or Coordinated Undergraduate Program in Dietetics
  • WA State Registration and Certification for Dietitian or RD/CD eligible
  • 7 hours of HIV/AIDS course
  • Medical Assistant-Registered Certification required for Hemoglobin testing for WIC RD
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in community nutrition setting with an interest in basic nutrition and childhood development
  • Minimum of 1-2 years experience in outpatient or similar nutrition setting
  • Current Adult/Pediatric CPR certification
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish
