Job Responsibilities:

The Beverage Service Specialist will be responsible for serving beverages and food to guests in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner. Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing beverages for other servers to deliver to guests.
  • Acting as a cashier for the lounge.
  • Maintaining a well-organized and adequately stocked bar area.
  • Ensuring the quality of all garnishes, juices, and perishables.
  • Greeting guests in a warm and friendly manner.
  • Promoting and documenting drink orders.
  • Processing payments accurately and balancing all transactions.
  • Performing general cleaning tasks in compliance with Health Department regulations.
  • Adhering to all State, Federal, and Corporate liquor regulations.
  • Completing other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • The ability to obtain any required government licenses or certifications.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • A basic understanding of beverage preparation and service of various alcoholic drinks.
  • Service orientation and knowledge of customer service principles.
  • A High School Diploma.
  • Previous bartending experience.
