In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining laboratory information systems, collaborating with laboratory stakeholders, subject matter experts, and IT professionals to document and audit current LIMS laboratory workflow processes and functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Document and audit current LIMS laboratory workflow processes and functionality
  • Implement and maintain laboratory information systems, including data migration, system configuration, and user training
  • Collaborate with laboratory stakeholders, subject matter experts, and IT professionals to ensure smooth implementation and integration of LIMS system
  • Provide on-site or remote support during initial implementation and system launch
  • Offer ongoing support, troubleshooting, and system enhancements
  • Oversee LIMS implementation project, including timelines, budget, and resource allocation
  • Manage transition to new LIMS system, address concerns, and foster user adoption
  • Identify opportunities to optimize laboratory workflows and improve efficiency through LIMS utilization
  • Integrate LIMS with other laboratory systems, such as instruments and data management platforms
  • Analyze data to identify trends and improve laboratory performance

Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Biological Sciences, or Medical Technologies
  • 3-5 years of practical experience with Lab Information Systems, Middleware solutions, Laboratory Automation, HL7/ASTM Standards, Clinical Data Management, Clinical Systems Integration
  • Strong understanding of laboratory operations and workflows
  • Expertise in LIMS software and configuration
  • Project management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Technical proficiency in database management and software applications

Compensation: $95,000 - $115,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
