We are currently looking for a Facility Maintenance Generalist who thrives on challenges. This position is ideal for a creative thinker and adept problem-solver who prefers to repair older machinery rather than replace it.

This role is essential for ensuring the continuous operation of equipment (such as Mixers, Air Motors, Pumps, etc.), which is vital for meeting production goals. Additionally, the position involves maintaining the facility and ensuring a comfortable and safe environment for staff. Success in this role requires a solid understanding of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and boiler systems, along with repair capabilities. Experience in welding is advantageous. A broad knowledge base across various trades is preferred over specialization in a single area. The facility is an older manufacturing site established in the 1960s. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, with shifts starting at either 6:00 am or 6:30 am. Compensation is commensurate with experience and knowledge.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of a one-year certificate from a college or technical school, or three to six months of relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with 480-volt electrical systems, basic welding, air motors, and gear pumps.
  • Dedication to high standards and excellence.

Work Environment: A significant portion of the work occurs in a production warehouse with cool temperatures and elevated noise levels.

Compensation: Hourly wage ranges from 20 to 27.
