Key Responsibilities
  • Implement a Reggio Emilia-inspired approach to educating children, focusing on play-based and child-directed learning.
  • Work collaboratively with a Mentor Teacher to manage the classroom and guide Assistant Teachers.
  • Supervise intern and practicum students, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the CSU Early Childhood Center's mission and goals.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and families, keeping them informed about their child's progress and involving them in the educational process.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 6 months (910 hours) of experience in education settings with young children.
  • Preferred qualifications include experience in a Reggio Emilia-inspired early childhood setting, ECE teaching license, or a Colorado Early Childhood Professional Credential of IV or above.
