GIS Analyst

Quality Healthcare Staffing is seeking a skilled GIS Analyst to join our team. As a GIS Analyst, you will play a crucial role in assisting our Key Consultant with day-to-day GIS-related tasks, ensuring data accuracy, performing technical analyses, and managing updates to both tax maps and GIS base maps.

• GIS Data Management: Update and maintain GIS base maps in alignment with the Key Consultant's guidance, and apply changes to GIS data to ensure consistency with updated tax maps.
• Technical Support: Assist in the application of 2024 changes to the GIS base maps, and perform data entry and integration tasks to ensure accurate representation of municipal conditions.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct initial quality checks on GIS updates and tax map revisions before final review, and verify the accuracy and completeness of GIS data and metadata.
• Metadata and Database Updates: Manage and update GIS metadata according to FGDC guidelines, and assist in updating and maintaining the tabular portion of the GIS database.
• Reporting and Documentation: Prepare preliminary reports and documentation for review by the Key Consultant.
