Job Title: Customer Service Representative

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE to join our team at PrideStaff in West Knoxville. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and excellent benefits package.

Salary: $15.00 - $17.00 Per Hour

About the Job:

  • Reconcile the cash drawer before and after shift by counting bank and printing cashier shift report
  • Check house count to determine the rooms available for the day/monitor sellable rooms and release as needed
  • Answer phone within 3 rings with a professional tone and manner
  • Pre-blocks arrivals with special requests and for groups as required on shift
  • Check expected departures; clears checkouts or extends stays after check out time
  • Obtain a form of payment for all incoming reservations
  • Obtain the required incidental hold on all guest rooms
  • Ensure guest registration card has vehicle information
  • Stay visible to all guests
  • Utilize Canary authorization to maintain compliance with credit card security requirements
  • Update Clean me next as needed for stayovers/ unexpected checkouts
  • Ensure all rooms are physically inspected before marking rooms inspected or checking a guest in
  • Monitor and respond to guests via Akia, report any issues to management
  • Monitor front desk email and print items
  • Stay up to date on CLC trainings and Member web trainings
  • Check all CLC guests out in a timely manner
  • Respond promptly to any guest's inquiries or complaints
  • Show personal control in front of guests by maintaining positive attitude
  • Treat all coworkers and guests with respect at all time
  • Document any guest accidents by completing the accident report form
  • Complete the maintenance log on Clean Me Next whenever a complaint is reported
  • Responsible for general cleaning of the lobby, coffee station and lobby restrooms
  • Assist with breakfast as required depending on the shift/Night Audit generally preps
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED preferred
  • Customer service experience required
  • Experience handling cash
  • Attention to detail
  • Knowledge of the hotel layout, all amenities offered, and all procedures
  • Knowledge of local geographic area knowledge, area businesses, services, major highway/street information, and community events and attractions
