About the Role

At Stratford School, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Preschool Substitute Educator to join our team. As a substitute teacher in our preschool program, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of students and implement a range of teaching methods and techniques.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Covering classroom duties as needed
  • Maintaining a safe and organized learning environment
  • Developing positive relationships with students, colleagues, and school staff
  • Providing individualized support and instruction to students

What We Offer

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $22.00-$24.00 and a part-time schedule that allows for flexibility and work-life balance. Our school is committed to providing a supportive and inclusive environment for all staff members.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in Child Development or a related field from an accredited college or university
  • 12-semester or 18-quarter early childhood units, including courses that cover the general areas of child growth and development
  • Prior classroom experience in a preschool setting (preferred)
