Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Community Health Systems. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Job Summary:

The Licensed Practical Nurse will be responsible for providing nursing services to patients, including administering medications, performing basic medical procedures, and documenting patient care observations. You will work closely with physicians, PA-C's, and CRNP's to ensure seamless patient care and education.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist physicians and other healthcare professionals with patient assessments, examinations, and treatments.
  • Document patient care observations and activities according to professional standards and procedures.
  • Provide thorough education and explanations to patients and family members about procedures and illnesses.
  • Administer medications and injections to patients as directed by providers.
  • Assist in emergency situations under the direction of a physician.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding patient and business functions of the center.
  • Perform basic medical procedures under the supervision of a clinician or provider.
Requirements:
  • Possession of a valid Pennsylvania LPN license.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred, but not required.
  • Able to relate appropriately to and communicate effectively with diverse patient populations and staff.
  • Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in medical practice.
