Job Title: Registered Dietitian

Job Summary:

The Department of Developmental Services - Headquarters is seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian to join our team. As a Registered Dietitian, you will play a crucial role in providing support to individuals with developmental disabilities during times of acute crisis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist individuals with activities of daily living, providing emotional support, and promoting independence.
  • Work in a community home setting, collaborating with a team to provide person-centered care.
  • Develop and implement nutrition plans to meet the unique needs of individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support.
  • Participate in training and professional development to stay up-to-date on best practices in dietetics and developmental disabilities.

Requirements:

  • Valid California Drivers License (CDL) required.
  • Pass a Drug Screening prior to being hired.
  • Clear Background Investigation prior to being hired.
  • Medical Clearance prior to being hired.
  • Registered Dietitian certification with the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
