As a Licensed Vocational Nurse - Clinic II with Christus Health, you will provide high-quality patient care under the supervision of a physician or registered nurse. This role involves performing various lab procedures, administering medications, and assisting with patient flow through the clinic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide basic patient care duties, including vital sign collection, weighing patients, and collecting specimens.
- Assist providers with examinations, treatments, and procedures.
- Answer phone calls, record messages, and assist with patient-related calls.
- Document patient information and assist with medication refills.
- Administer medications and immunizations as ordered by providers.
- Clean and restock exam rooms, and maintain equipment according to policy.
- Perform routine clerical duties, including chart location, filing, and form completion.
- Attend required meetings and training sessions.
Requirements:
- Certification as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
- LVN License in the state of employment or compact
- BLS Certification
Work Environment:
This is a per diem, as-needed position.
