We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our team at Mount Sinai Health System. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing CT scans and other diagnostic exams, assisting patients, and providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities- Assist patients in preparing for CT scans and other diagnostic exams
- Operate CT scanners and other radiographic equipment
- Position patients correctly for imaging procedures
- Apply technical judgment to obtain high-quality images
- Provide patient education and instructions
- Assist physicians with procedures and exams
- Maintain a clean and safe environment
- Perform quality assurance procedures
- Record patient information and transmit images to PACS
- Graduate of an AMA/J.C.E.R.T. approved program in Radiologic Technology
- Minimum 2 years of progressive CT experience
- Excellent technical skills and knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy
- New York State License (L.R.T.) and current CT certification
- Current CPR certification
