About the Role

THERAPY 2000, a leading provider of pediatric healthcare services, is seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in North Houston.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive Speech Therapy evaluations to determine patients' needs for therapy.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with physicians' orders, utilizing clinical judgment and expertise.
  • Collaborate with patients' caregivers to develop home exercise programs, promoting effective therapy outcomes.
  • Act as a vital member of patients' medical teams, coordinating care with various providers and disciplines.
  • Meet deadlines for patient chart updates, progress summaries, and other paperwork requirements.
  • Participate in regular meetings with agency personnel to maintain understanding of expectations and standards for delivering high-quality patient care.
  • Ensure compliance with agency policies, procedures, and relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements
  • A current and active license to practice Speech Language Pathology in the state of Texas.
  • An innovative spirit, complemented by a demonstrated history of reliability and adaptability.
  • Flexibility to adjust priorities and resources as needed, based on the needs of the business.
  • Proficiency in using common workplace technology, including laptops, email, and web browsers.
  • Bilingual skills in English and Spanish.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience as a pediatric Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Experience working in a home-health setting.
  • Experience or certifications in feeding therapy or other clinical specialties, such as VitalStim or SOFFI.
