Job Summary

Connecticut Institute for Communities, Inc. is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Chief Program Officer to lead the operational management of its Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). The successful candidate will serve as the operational head of CIFC Health, one of three core divisions of CIFC, and will be responsible for the overall management, administration, and proper functioning of all CIFC Health line operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the operational management of CIFC Health, including the development and implementation of strategic plans, policies, and procedures.
  • Lead a team of senior leaders and managers to ensure the effective delivery of healthcare services to over 15,000 patients annually.
  • Collaborate with the CEO's Cabinet and other executive leaders to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to ensure the financial sustainability of CIFC Health.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and industry best practices.
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including patients, families, community partners, and healthcare providers.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a related field, such as Public Administration, Nursing, or Public Health.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in healthcare operations, with a strong track record of leadership and project management.
  • Strong knowledge of community health centers, healthcare operations, and regulatory requirements.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification preferred.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
