Job Title: On-Call Emergency Medicine Physician

Atria Physician Practice New York PC is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated On-Call Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team. As a key member of our medical staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients' conditions to determine the severity of their problems.
  • Conduct thorough medical histories and physical examinations to diagnose and treat patients.
  • Stabilize or attend to patients' basic needs and refer them to specialists, admit, or transfer them as necessary.
  • Effectively interact with diverse cultural backgrounds and a wide range of personality types and ages.
  • Promote health education and liaise with other medical and non-medical staff to ensure quality treatment.
  • Be available to respond to requests for house calls within a reasonable response time and take weekend calls at least once a month.

Requirements:

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine.
  • ACLS certified, PALS certified.
  • Residency trained and board certified in Emergency Medicine by ABEM.
  • 5 years of emergency room experience preferred.
  • Experience with point of care ultrasound and diagnostic testing preferred.
  • Experience with Athena preferred, but not required.
  • Prior concierge medicine experience preferred, but not required.
