Job Summary:We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate LPN to provide high-quality patient care and support to our clients. The successful candidate will work closely with our treatment team to deliver and implement patient health services, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our clients.
Responsibilities:- Conduct and/or monitor all medication calls and health calls as scheduled.
- Work with clients and guardians to schedule medical appointments and conduct follow-up as required.
- Collaborate with our Agency psychiatrist to ensure timely medication refills and communicate with guardians regarding medication changes.
- Provide on-site health services to address emerging and/or current health needs of clients.
- Train and guide key staff members in emergency health situations.
- Establish and monitor health-related policies and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
- Provide immediate first aid in health emergencies and escort clients to emergency services when necessary.
- Conduct health assessments and make recommendations on client participation in treatment.
- NYS Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification.
- Experience working in a substance abuse treatment setting or special populations.
- Experience working with adolescents is a plus.
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
- Ability to work one of the schedule options listed above.
- Flexibility in scheduling is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in collaboration with diverse groups of people.
