Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Living Legends Health. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping our residents achieve their physical therapy goals and improve their overall quality of life.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized physical therapy plans for residents, taking into account their unique needs and goals.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify areas for improvement and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Provide hands-on therapy sessions, including exercises, stretches, and other interventions to help residents achieve their goals.
  • Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team, including physicians, nurses, and other therapists, to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Document resident progress and outcomes, and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in physical therapy, and incorporate this knowledge into your practice.
Requirements
  • New York State Physical Therapy Licensure
  • CPR certification
  • Physical strength to lift between 50-100lbs
  • Ability to read and understand work assignments, as well as report verbally and provide written documentation as necessary
  • Respect for residents' privacy and rights; display of genuine concern and empathy for the elderly
  • Able to perform tasks while upholding high standards of quality, cleanliness, and kindness
  • Qualities of responsibility, maturity, diplomacy, and ability to work well with residents and other staff members
